This product should not be available for sale here – why is it still here, Amazon? What appeared to be a working snow plow with a sturdy blade and cutting edge turned out to be a bad design with flawed thinking in the fasteners and how to make the plow work. It is a fake. The deeper I got into the assembly, the more I realized how poorly this product was made. The company hides the fact the blade’s angeling feature is NOT adjustable from the tractor seat. You must be in front of the tractor and manually pull a release knob in order to change the angel – every time! The lifting lever is weak and does NOT hold the plow up when raised as there is not a true “up” position. The operator must constantly hold the lever when raised. A catch lever that was supposed to hold the blade in the up position doesn’t even come close to working and fails on the release attempts. It appears they tried to use a bicycle cable and fudged a release. It will not release the plow if you somehow get the lever to catch. At first I thought there was something missing. Well, yes, there were missing fasteners as well. No amount of adjusting or fiddling with it will compensate for a design that does not work. DO NOT MAKE A MISTAKE – DO NOT ORDER. AVOID this plow or you will regret the purchase. Dealing with customer dis-service was a battle from the start and they fought things every step of the way. Not recommeded at all.

***EDIT*** The blade on this plow is heavy but the mount and mounting arm is not. After three snows in less than two months the mounting brackets bent about 45 degrees, I had to remove the mounting brackets and straighten them in a bench vise and they are beginning to bend again. I will have to go back and weld on a bracket to strengthen them. Also the plow handle broke so I will have to weld that up as well. I asked for a refund/return on this however I would have to pay for shipping and would also be charged a 50% restocking fee. So customer service is not great. Buyer bewared on this one.*** So I am dealing with the Bomb Cyclone in Colorado and of course this plow could not handle the snow. I successfully welded up the blade lift control (the long handle) a few weeks ago but in the process of moving lots of snow, one of the mounting brackets snapped. It was a clean break because when they made them they used stamped steel so it broke at the bend. Luckily it was a clean break so I was able to weld it up in about 30 min and got back to it. At some point I expect I will remake or fix everything on this plow and make it what it should have been. I Can’t stress this enough, if you have to move a lot of snow, more than a few inches, DO NOT BUY THIS PLOW!!! ***

After one time use, brackets bent, and lever welting points were detached. Plow quality is good, thick steel, but supporting metals are cheap.
